“Cherries in the Head” is a new album by abstract soundscape creators Tencu/eleOnora. It is the duo’s second studio album and will be self released as an edition of 40 tapes. The album contains improvised material that was recorded in the summer of 2023. On this album it is possible to hear two different sound interpretations of one recording session. Side A was mixed by eleOnora and side B by Tencu. On some occasions it is well noticeable that the musicians have chosen to work with the same sections of the recorded material. These parts especially reveal how differently it is possible to envision a mutually created work. These two sound worlds are like the cherries of this album - different in each head, sweet or sour. “Cherries in the Head” will be released on 27th of September on Bandcamp and the duo will present the tapes on 30th of September in Riga at Skaņu Mežs Festival.
